The position
The Procurement manager is a strategic position that focuses on identifying the Procurement needs of an organization, reviewing purchases requisitions, awarding supplier tenders and supervising the performance of contractors as well as ensuring compliance to the provisions of the public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets act (Chapter 22:23) and related legislation in an effective, economic and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Experience
Honors Degree in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent
A master’s Degree or higher qualification will be an added advantage
Membership of a recognized professional body is a must
At least 5 years’ post qualification experience level in purchasing and supply
Knowledge of SAP is a distinctive advantage
A clean class 4 drivers license
