Data Entry Intern

Women’s Coalition of Zimbabwe
Edmonds Avenue, Belvedere Harare

Background
Women Coalition of Zimbabwe in collaboration with Women in Politics Support Unit and the Netherlands Embassy is embarking on a project titled Ground UP. The goal of the program is to build and develop political accountability to women and women rights by women as citizens from women in political parties, independent commissions and political parties. The project has managed to mobilize, engage, educate, coordinate and enhance women’s access to participation and influence of governance spaces and processes. This is a key catalyst towards a women’s rights based political and electoral accountability, at all levels and structures of governance including constitution independent bodies as institutions for advancing democracy. This intervention will leverage, expand and pivot current women’s participation, in a way that will result in strengthening institutions and governance processes, accountability and responsiveness of political structures and officers to women as citizens, and as political constituents. Therefore, the proposed interventions are key building blocks to positioning women and women’s issues within governance and public discourse so that accountability intrinsically demands women’s representation, inclusion, engagement and make women matter, beyond numbers anchoring on the 2018 pre, during and immediate post 2018 election cycle period. It is against this background that the project wishes to employ a data entry intern to assist in capturing projects data.
