Compliance Inspectors – (Harare x2; Gweru x1; Mutare x2; Vic Falls x1; Kadoma x1;
Kariba x1)
Reporting to the Senior Compliance Inspector, the successful candidate will ensure total compliance by employers, employees and other persons with provisions of NSSA statutes, primarily in terms of:
 The registration of employers and employees.
 Payment of contributions.
 The maintenance of records as prescribed.
 The furnishing of information and data which is essential for the smooth and proper administration of the schemes and,  The prevention of abuse and fraud.
The role is achieved by examination of records relating to the employment of employees and by direct interview of employers, employees and other persons. Visits to employers’ premises may be, by way of routine inspection or in relation to any case where enquiry, investigation or inspection is necessary.

Key Outputs

 Examination of employer records for consistency and accuracy i.e. payrolls, employment contracts, financial statements etc.
 Doing selected head counts of employees to verify authenticity of employer’s payroll
 Visiting employers to demand contributions by engaging top management
 Establishing outstanding balances through inspections/audits
 Negotiating payment plans with employers
 Attending court on behalf of NSSA
 Carrying out routine and random inspections of company records to ensure total compliance with NSSA statutes by employers
 Conducting teach-ins to employers and employees to ensure compliance with all NSSA statutes to ensure all contributions and payments due are paid timeously.
 Meeting company executives to do inspections and debt recovery
 Analysing ,verifying and auditing employer’s payroll system checking contribution rates and establishing bills
 Analysing employer’s financial statements to see viability of a company when negotiating payment plans and recommendation for waiver of surcharges

 Investigation of Compliance cases i.e. reported cases
 Investigation of Benefits cases
 Revenue collection
 P4 Collection
 Prosecution Hostile employers/employees through ZRP
 Conducting market intelligence to register new employers & employees
 Facilitate the submission of NSSA returns for proper administration of Social Security Schemes.
 Compiling activity reports to Supervisor for information and decision making

Qualifying Requirements
 A Diploma in Business Studies/Accounting
 Clean Class 4 Drivers licence
 3-5 years relevant experience in either debt management or law enforcement work
