Reporting to the Administrator, the successful candidate will provide first point of call services relating to inquiries on all NSSA activities made by NSSA clients so as to ensure prompt and quality service, primarily in terms of; registration of employers and employees, receipting and banking contributions, benefits and maintenance of records as prescribed.
Key Outputs:
 Attend to all call-in and walk-in client queries concerning NSSA activities in order to ensure that correct information is disseminated.
 Receive and receipt cash submitted at the sub-office by employers for contributions and as payment for other NSSA services in terms of the NSSA Act so as to ensure that the Authority is not prejudiced.
 Receive and check benefits claims through the use of the Central Processing System (CPS) so that claimants’ payments are processed.
 Process funeral grants starting from receipting, opening of file, capturing of the claim on SAP, billing, invoicing and paying out.
 Prepare daily bank deposit schedules for banking to ensure accountability and security of money received.
 Take custody of and account for the cashbox and keys to ensure safekeeping of money, vouchers and security items.
 Generate petty cash vouchers and maintain the petty cash register to ensure that vouchers raised and cash issued balance at the end of the day.
 Store and issue out stationery and consumables for the sub-office using the relevant documents to ensure efficient progress of work.
 Open and record all incoming and outgoing mail to ensure that information gets to its intended destination timeously.
 File all correspondence in the appropriate files and open new files where necessary to ensure easy retrieval of documents when needed.

Qualifying Requirements

 A Diploma in Business Studies or Accounting or equivalent.
 1 –3 years’ relevant experience.
