Procurement Officer
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above
vacant position which has arisen in the Fund’s Corporate Services Department.
Reporting to the Accounting Officer, the incumbent’s Key Results Areas will be as follows:
• Procurement in compliance with the Public Procurement & Disposal of Public Assets Act
(Cap.22:23) and the Fund’s Procurement Policy.
• Liaising with the Property Administration Section to ensure that appointed Property
ManagementAgents’ procurement complies with the Fund’s Policies and Procedures.
• Identifying and recommending assets for disposal in line with the Fund’s Internal Control
Policies &Procedures, and the ProcurementAct.
• Preparation of PRAZ specified annual periodical returns of procurement.
• Preparation of reports, returns and schedules as requested by the Accounting Officer
and/or PRAZ.
• Drawing up annual procurement budget plan and monitoring tools.
• Maintaining a schedule of committed funds and corresponding budget running balances
for all line items under the procurement portfolio.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the Accounting Officer as and when required.
• Higher National Diploma/Degree in Procurement or other related profession e.g.
Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
• Must have at least two years relevant working experience.
• Be a team player, honest and highly computer literate
