VACANCY Hotspeck Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd is a subsidiary of Rural Electrification Fund (REF), which specializes in utility pole manufacturing and implementation of grid and off-grid projects. The company’s over-arching mandate is to render support to REF in its efforts of providing energy infrastructure to Zimbabwe.
It is against this background that Hotspeck seeks the services of a Millwright at its pole manufacturing plant. Applicants should submit an application letter accompanied by a Curriculum Vitae and certified copies of certificates.
MILLWRIGHT (1 POST) – Hotspeck Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd
Duties and Responsibilities:
To determine work procedures, including installation of machinery. To inspect and examine both plant and mobile machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunction. To diagnose electrical faults and maintain or repair electrical systems for plant and equipment. To ensure that all plant and machinery operate properly and safely in line with manufacturers specifications, policies and compliance requirements. To keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Class 1 Millwright Journeyman Certificate Apprenticeship training Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience post apprenticeship Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety standards of equipment and mobile plant equipment Experience using PLC is an advantage • Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines • Ability to work in a team environment A clean class 4 drivers licence
