Key Areas Area:

Assist in preparation and distribution of agendas of meetings
Capturing of minutes of Council ,Committee, Management and Other meetings that may be convened from time to time
Attending to correspondences arising from Council and Committee deliberations
Ensuring the and relevance of reports from respective departments or discussion in Committee and Management Meetings
Facilitating requisite procedures towards the implementation of resolutions and decisions of Council
Attending to such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Attributes

Bachelor of Arts Degree/HND in English Literature. Linguistics, Office Administration. Secretarial Studies or equivalent
Certificate in Local Governance is an added advantage
At least 2 years’ experience in minute writing. in a related post
Excellent communication skills at all levels both verbal and script.
Computer literacy,all Microsoft applications
Mature and results oriented
Organized and able to work under reasonable pressure
