Regional Coordinator: Africaid

Africaid is seeking to recruit a Regional Coordinator for the Southern Region who will be responsible for defining, planning, tracking, managing and leading the work of the Zvandiri Mentors (ZM), coordinating scale up of Africaid’s Zvandiri model and Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS). Also ensuring quality at all levels of programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation, finance and reporting. This role will include amongst other things, overseeing all activities in the provinces in accordance with the approved project work plans as well as management of project deliverables in line with the project plan.
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in social work, social science or related field; At least minimum three years’ experience in community development and/or mobilisation; Experience working with children and adolescents essential; Comprehensive understanding of the Africaid Zvandiri Model desirable; Technical working knowledge of HIV; Knowledge of and familiarity with the Ministry of Health and Child Care; Strong report writing and computer skills; Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills: verbal, written, listening, presentation and facilitation; Demonstrated experience in adolescent HIV/ART programming, including community, peer-led interventions; Written and spoken English, knowledge of Shona and Ndebele essential
